Zandvoorts Museum as a stage

Radio station ALT FM is turning the Museum Café in the Zandvoorts Museum into a radio studio especially for VLOED. During VLOED, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., they will offer local and regional musicians the opportunity to perform: alternative pop in all forms, combined with classical music and jazz.
You can be there live! Prefer to stay at home? The performances will be broadcast live on ZFM-radio, TV, and YouTube.
Between the musical performances, the program will focus on the exhibition Zandvoort, 200 Seaside Resort in the Zandvoorts Museum. Zandvoort residents will share personal stories and anecdotes.
During Musical Stories, you’ll hear personal stories at the Zandvoorts Museum over three days, from May 14–16. A diverse lineup of artists, each with their own story. The artists share their feelings, backgrounds, and inspiration through music.
On Thursday, Bieke, Sterre, and MAZIS will kick off the program.
Bieke writes Dutch-language pop songs inspired by personal experiences. Sterre, a pop/folk singer-songwriter from Alkmaar, takes you on a journey through honest stories about love and relationships. MAZIS follows with a special performance centered around his single My Hometown Is Bleeding: a musical story about identity, heritage, and coming home.
Three inspiring women with intimate storytelling styles and warm voices are welcomed into the studio. Ayla’s Castle presents short musical stories; with her guitar and shruti box, she brings Gracias a la Vida to life in no fewer than six languages.
Amy takes you on a journey of recognition and meaning, with songs born from emotion. With her great musical talent, evident from a young age, Sana surprises listeners with her own twist and interpretations of R&B and soul classics.
Musical Stories concludes with Dean Presley. This young talent stands out from the crowd with his vintage style and his songs, which center on gratitude, nostalgia, and inspiration. A performance that touches the heart and lingers in the memory.
Musical Stories is an invitation to listen, feel, and let yourself be carried away by music that tells more than just notes.
