Performances at unique locations

At dusk, the village becomes our backdrop. During the Evening Route of the VLOED festival, you will walk as a group past three iconic locations. At each location, a performance awaits that is enhanced by its surroundings — intimate, raw, or grand.
At the newly opened Theater De Krocht, watch the talented acrobat Katleen. With her graceful acrobatic exercises and funny blunders, she will hold your attention until the very last moment. Amid the lifeboats in the boathouse of the KNRM rescue service, you’ll see impressive video footage of rescue operations at sea, accompanied by live music from the four-piece indie/folk band Coos. We end the evening in the Dorpskerk, where you will be completely absorbed by the dance performances of the Dutch Don’t Dance Division. Dance, singing, and large group choreographies alternate, with stories about the Zandvoort shipwreck and the sea as a recurring theme.
To conclude the evening, you can enjoy the Wereldse Smaken food truck festival (located close to the Dorpskerk). Should you buy your ticket (full price) before 4 May, you will receive a gift card of € 5,- for Wereldse Smaken.
The performance at the KNRM is organized in collaboration with pop venue Patronaat.
Put on sturdy shoes, dress for the weather for the walks in between, and let yourself be surprised!
All three locations are accessible to everyone. The walking routes are wheelchair accessible with assistance. Have difficulty walking? Please contact us.Together we will find
