Here’s how to explore Zandvoort during VLOED

Planning a vacation or a weekend getaway in Zandvoort? Let us take you to special spots and share stories during VLOED. Our program is available in several languages.

Our tip: rent bikes from us at Stationsplein to cruise through Zandvoort and get to know the different sides of this seaside town. What makes Zandvoort unique is the combination of village, dunes, and beach—which you can best explore by bike.

Heading out with the whole family? Then be sure to take the Kids Route walk starting from the Zandvoorts Museum. Fun for the whole family, and you’ll learn something about Zandvoort’s history right away. Enjoy the daily opening concert Parade on Badhuisplein. Afterward, the kids can join the Roar Race and win by shouting as loud as they can. Certificates are available in various languages. Free street theater acts will surprise you all afternoon.

Without the kids, enjoy the Dance Route in the afternoon at a surprising location where the dancers blend into the dune forest and marram grass. And in the evening, after a delicious bite or drink at the Wereldse Smaken food festival or one of the cozy beach bars, you’ll explore the village during the Evening Route. Along the way, you’ll experience different art forms—music, film, circus, and dance—at three locations. Each location tells a story of Zandvoort.

Zandvoort reveals a completely different side of itself during VLOED, and you’ll head home with a wealth of stories!
